BBC 360 degrees

The original 360 proposal is what you see here. An online community was to drive the BBC television output of a corresponding 360 programme.

Aided by an online community, a series of microlite pilots on 'missions' that were sent by the same website members, are followed by TV cameras and webcams as they attempt to reach their mission-critical goals within 360 hours.

The concept was not implemented in the way it was intended. However, an online community evolved around modern spirituality within the space created for the mulit-platform experiment. Stranger things have happened... haven't they?
